From the Archivist
A note from the Magnus Institute
Make your statement, face your fear. The Magnus Archives is a weekly horror fiction audiodrama produced by Rusty Quill, examining what lurks in the archives of the Magnus Institute — an organisation dedicated to researching the esoteric, the eldritch and the genuinely unsettling. Jonathan Sims is your archivist; the statements are his to record.
The original five seasons of The Magnus Archives ran from 2016 to 2021, weaving stand-alone horror statements into a record-breaking metaplot that captivated millions and helped define the modern audio drama. Its long-awaited continuation, The Magnus Protocol, returned in January 2024 and Season 2 is ongoing.
Membership funds the team that researches, writes, casts, performs, edits and produces every episode — and unlocks an archive of bonus series, Q&As, and members-only stretch-goal content. The public feed will always be there; the vault holds everything else.
